How unamerican and disgraceful that some of your council is
fighting to recall Councilman David Habecker after all his
years of service due to the fact that he has a principled
objection to recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance due to
its unamerican violation of the separation of church and
state.
Such reactions happened in Hitler's Germany too. To think
that a warm, charming community like Estes Park is led by
such small minded and insecure people is alarming.
What about moral principle do you NOT understand?
I suggest all the council become educated on this issue
rather than responding out of unamerican fear baiting and
insecurity.

EDUCATE yourselves with the ACTUAL HISTORIC
CORRESPONDENCE that established the bedrock American
principle of this critical FREEDOM OF RELIGION in this
country.
Proceeding as you are otherwise is ignorant, hateful, petty
and frightfully UNamerican.
